Coperies Les Brumes Wins Diamond Prize at the 2025 French Drinks Awards

Our Coperies Les Brumes single malt whisky has been awarded the Diamond Prize at the 2025 French Drinks Awards, one of the leading competitions celebrating French spirits.
We were delighted and deeply honoured to receive the Diamond Prize in the Single Malt category at the second edition of the French Drinks Awards, held on September 26, 2025, at the Grande Halle de La Villette in Paris.
This distinction was awarded to Coperies Les Brumes following blind tastings conducted by an independent French jury, which praised the whisky’s aromatic precision, quality of craftsmanship and distinctive character.
This recognition is part of a prestigious and highly competitive awards programme that highlights the vitality of the French spirits scene. Coperies Les Brumes also featured by Whisky Magazine in an article published on September 27, 2025, entitled “French Drinks Awards 2025: the French spirits scene in the spotlight,” describing the awards as a true barometer of the French spirits market.
The weekend following the awards ceremony, Distillerie Merlet took part in Whisky Live Paris, within the Pavillon France, where we presented the Coperies whisky range alongside our Merlet Cognacs.
